This machine uses a series of processes, including distillation, hydrotreatment, and re-refining, to purify the crude oil and separate it into various components.
The equipment consists of a refining tank, a decolorizing tank, a deodorizing tank, a steam generator, a steam vacuum composite filter, an oil pump and an electronic control system. It can realize degumming, deacidification, drying, decolorization and deodorization during crude oil refinery.

Oil Refinery Process
1. Degumming
This is also pre-treatment in the refinery. Degumming is to remove phospholipids and mucilage substances from crude oil. Phospholipids are highly hygroscopic and their presence is not conducive to the storage of edible oils, but they have high nutritional value and are widely used. The removal of phospholipids is an important step in oil refining. Hot water or alkaline electrolyte solution is used for this step. Phospholipids swell by absorbing water and then settle and separate from the oil.
2. Neutralize
The second step is neutralization. Free fatty acids (FFA) are removed by adding caustic soda. Thermal oil is required here to heat the crude oil to approximately 60°C. The crude oil is then stirred and a chemical reaction occurs to generate soapstock, which precipitates at the bottom of the tank and is taken out.
3. Bleaching
The neutralized oil now goes to the next container, where the unpleasant color needs to be removed. In this step we use fuller’s earth which is highly adsorbent at high temperatures. The temperature of the thermal oil should reach 110°C to ensure good adsorption, and stirring is required. The adsorbed residue and clay are filtered through a filtration process.
4. Deodorization
The clean bleached oil is then drawn into a deodorizer for a final step of deodorization to remove volatile odorants and free fatty acids. This step is performed under high vacuum. The oil is heated to 110°C, then fresh steam is piped through, and the oil temperature continues to rise to 200-220°C. The deodorized oil enters the cooler through circulating oil for cooling. After a second filtration, refined edible oil can be obtained.
