Rapeseed Oil Extraction Line
Rapeseed is one of the main raw materials in the world, and its oil content is about 40%. The processing technology of rapeseed is generally divided into two methods: physical pressing and solvent extracting, so as to obtain rapeseed meal and rapeseed oil. The meal can be used to produce animal feed, fertilizer, etc., and the crude oil is further refined to produce refined edible oil.
Rapeseed Pretreatment Process
Pretreatment is a series of treatments such as cleaning, softening, peeling, flaking and extrusion before extracting oil, aiming at removing impurities and making rapeseed into materials with certain structural properties to meet the requirements of different processes.
01.Cleaning
Rapeseed in the harvest, transportation and storage process may be mixed with some impurities, mainly dust, sand, stone, metal, stems and leaves, skin and so on. Usually using screening, magnetic separation, wind separation and other methods and corresponding equipment to remove impurities in the seeds.
02.Peeling
Rapeseed seed peel contains more than 30% crude fiber, and contains sinapine, pigment, phytic acid, tannin and other anti-nutrients, which has a great influence on the quality of rapeseed meal. Removing the seed skin of rapeseed can not only improve the quality of the meal, but also improve the quality of the crude oil with light color and low phospholipid content.
03.Softening & Rolling
Softening is to adjust the rapeseed moisture and temperature, reduce the powder and stick roller phenomenon in the rolling process, ensure the quality of billet.
Rolling is the process of making rapeseed from grain to flake by mechanical action, which is good for the extraction of oil and improving the steaming effect.
04.Extrusion and expansion
Extruding is the process of converting the crushed and rolled rapeseed into porous extruded pellets by extruding equipment. Extruding is mainly used in solvent extraction process.
Pressing Process
With the help of mechanical external force, the method of extruding the oil from the seeds is called the pressing method of taking oil. Generally, a screw oil presser is used to extract oil. According to whether the raw material needs to be roasted, it can be divided into cold pressing and hot pressing. The oil yield of hot pressing is higher, and the color of the oil is slightly darker, and the oil yield of cold pressing is low, and the color of the oil is light.

Solvent Extraction Process
Because of the high oil content of rapeseed, the pressed rapeseed cake meal still has a high oil content, and the rapeseed oil solvent extraction device can extract rapeseed oil from the oilseed to the maximum extent.
The solvent extraction process has four processes. They are solvent systems, desolvent systems, condensing systems and recovery systems.

Rapeseed Oil Refining Process
Generally, unrefined oil is called crude oil, which often contain a range of impurities, such as suspended impurities, moisture, phospholipids, free fatty acids, pigments, waxes, etc. The removal of these impurities can make the acid value, peroxide value, moisture content, color and odor of the oil meet the qualified standard, which is beneficial to improve the safety and storage stability of the oil. Refining process can be divided into degumming, deacidification, decolorization, deodorization and dewaxing steps according to the requirements.
